She is the mother of three children, and at an early age she loved to read and listen to short stories that her parents narrated her. She attended college with orientation in education. Today, she is a teacher specializing in the field of preschool children and librarian of educational institutions. She also wrote poetry and stories for adults and children. She participated in national and international literary competitions, and twice won first prize in the regional competitions. She received special mentions and her works were selected, with other authors, to be part of Antologías. The collection Chiquicuentos was developed based on the experience and knowledge of preschool children's and early readers' interests.
