Author Information

Chia-Ju was born in a beautiful town in Taiwan and has been interested in art since her childhood. She started learning Fine Arts from junior high school with the full support of her family and specialised in Traditional Urushi Art at university. Meanwhile, she learnt various skills for presenting artistic ideas during her study. After some years of working experience in art, Chia-Ju now runs a studio of art and design, which includes postcard design, business card design, murals, illustrations and handicrafts. During her free time, Chia-Ju often likes to join some short courses and art shows to develop her skills and ideas. With the talent of communicating with children, Chia-Ju enjoys playing with colours and lines to present true innocence and happiness that she thinks is the most touching and real feeling of our heart. She is now developing modern interpretations of the traditional practice of paper-cut illustrations with stories for children.
