Author Information

Dr. Long Cheng currently works as Associate Professor at the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Shandong University, China. He also serves as Research Fellows at the Centre for Quality of Life and Public Policy Research, Research Base for Social Governance at Shandong University, and Research Institute of Spatial Governance at Ocean University of China. Dr. Cheng received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. His Ph.D. thesis has been published with Springer Nature titled Contemporary China’s land use policy-the Link Policy which investigates China’s ongoing rural resettlement policy and practices. Additionally, his research interests primarily focus on land use policy in China and China’s urban–rural development issues. Related publications have come out in journals like Land Use Policy, Habitat International, etc.
