A reminiscence of Christmas, from the viewpoint of a young boy, that has been a holiday favorite for decades. Dylan Thomas was among the most popular cultural figures of the 20th century for the poems Do not go gentle into that good night and And death shall have no dominion; the ""play for voices"" Under Milk Wood; and stories and radio broadcasts such as Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dogand, especially, A Child's Christmas in Wales. Edward Ardizzone was a painter, print-maker and war artist, and the author and illustrator of many books including Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas in Wales.
