Her creations are heavily influenced by her colorful country and she is known for her illustrations often inspired by the flora and fauna around the world and her flourish lettering for book covers. During this time she also worked as a literacy mentor for elementary school students, where she gained a deeper understanding of the development of literacy and language learning skills. Carla hopes to continue expanding her knowledge and appreciation of languages with people of all ages.
