After completing his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, he received post-doctoral training in neuropsychology. He has presented papers at the regional, national and international level. Topics on which he has presented include attentional difficulties, differentiated instruction, cognitive development, and cognitive enhancement. He was previously co-owner of the Texarkana Family Center which specialized in working with children and their families. Experience includes maintaining a private practice, teaching and serving as guidance counselor in elementary, middle, and high schools as well as teaching on the university level. Current research includes evaluating and fine tuning the Children's Cognitive Enhancement in order to make it a viable resource for parents and teachers.
