Catherine Veitch followed up her English degree with a primary teaching certificate, where she often used stories as the starting points for lessons. With a passion for educating children in a fun, inspiring way, and oodles of ideas, Catherine started life working in children’s magazines as a writer before moving into book publishing as an editor/writer. She’s now a freelance children’s writer full time and writes early years fiction, non-fiction, puzzle, activity and phonics books, in addition to adapting classic tales. When she’s not writing, you’ll find Catherine on a yoga mat or heading off for an adventure along the coast. Archina is a freelance illustrator from Naples, Italy, where she studied illustration at Scuola Italiana di Comix. She loves bringing magical characters and worlds to life with her illustrations.
