Author Information

Chantal Kees graduated in graphic design, where she discovered the amazing world of illustration. Now, after many years as an illustrator, she is just as passionate! Inspired by her long walks in the country side, listening to music and reading a lot of cartoons, she creates illustrations that appeal to adults and children alike, balancing imagination and humour. Angela Hewitt is one of those rare adults who has kept her vivid, childlike imagination, and this is reflected in her illustrations. Largely self-taught in illustration, she has been drawing since a young age, and with the support of her mum eventually made art her dream career. She loves a good book shop and can spend hours browsing the shelves – children’s books being her favourite!
