Children Think Suicide Too! is about young children trying to endure the burdens of abnormal negative experiences that have happened to them. Whether they realize how much of an impact these experiences have had, small or large offenses are hard for them to understand and endure while growing up. It addresses emotions that children feel, such as fear, rejection, not feeling loved, loneliness, stress and disappointment. Having the emotion is one thing but learning to cope with it is another. Children experience adult emotions but lack the capacity to express or deescalate the trauma on their own. They become insecure and uneasy due to this inability to process their thoughts and feelings. After all how does a child express fear, emotions of feeling unloved, bullying, and such things? This book helps you understand what is needed to guide them to express in their own way yet not destructive. It also will show you the authors own experience and through it all, they can still be ok. The hurt doesn't have to last forever. She will share her fortune with having her aunt, her granddad, and her godfather to show her God's love: a love that transcended deeper than she had at home. Author Information

Leslie A. Hill is a short story author, poet, and amateur artist. Her first poem called, Friend is published by The International Library of Poetry. She is working on her latest publication called, From Pity to Praise, which is a collection of poems that cover a period of her life when she journeyed through a major depression to freedom through an encounter with the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ. She raised 4 beautiful children and has 3 grandchildren. When not writing, she spends her time with her grandchildren, which help her to reflect on her youth, a time when moments were sweet and innocent. Leslie is also actively involved with two non-profit organizations founded by her oldest two children: God's Gurl, www.godsgurl.org and Covenanted Praise Mime Ministry, www.covenantedpraise.org.
