Emilia Lynn Malecôt is a young and new Swiss writer. Though her books are originally written in English, Swiss German is actually her native language. At 17 years of age she began writing her first published novel ""Children of the revolution"", finishing it a year later and publishing it on the 18th of March 2026. When life gave young Emilia lemons she started inventing stories that helped her through school and work, allowing her to live in a different world for as long as she is writing. Planning a book always came rather easy for her but it was the actually finishing it that delayed the process, because she eventually started doubting her own abilities. When someone asks her what her hobbies are the first thing to mention is always writing. What Emilia is also very passionate about is history, fantasy films and musicals, because that is where she gets her inspiration from. She also gets most creative on long train rides with her headphones on and cozy evenings with her cat (which is named after one of her main characters).
