Alisdair Gillespie is a Reader in Law at De Montfort University and a member of the Home Secretary's Task Force on Child Protection on the Internet. Alisdair is qualified as a barrister (Middle Temple) but works as a full-time academic. He publishes regularly on the area of child abuse in the law, particularly in respect of abusive images of children and other abuse facilitated through modern communication technologies (e.g. child grooming, child procurement).
