Author Information

Elizabeth-Anne Gumbel QC is a personal injury lawyer at 199 Strand Chambers, and is instructed in a number of group actions arising out of abuse of children in local authority care or in institutions, she has acted for both Claimants and Defendants. Malcolm Johnson is Secretary of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers, and Head of the Personal Injury Department at Steel and Shamash. He specialises in child abuse compensation claims and has lectured and written extensively on this subject as well appearing on television and radio. Richard Scorer is a Partner at Pannone & Partners specialising in complex personal injury cases. He was described by the Independent on Sunday as one of Britain's leading specialists in child abuse litigation . He is a founder member and executive officer of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers, and has written widely for the legal press and appeared on television and radio in relation to many of his cases.
