A close second was the approach on how the animals defeated Foxy Woxy. A great story for children to learn the basics of physics and using knowledge to defeat obstacles. Mary Saunders, Library Assistant, Delta County CO As much as in the original story, Foxy Woxy, being a cunning animal as foxes usually are, tries to lure the merry investigative bunch inside his den, but what happens after that is a thing of beauty! The reader can't help but feel so exhilarated and happy while following the animals on their investigative quest. This contemporary retelling of a classic fable is accompanied by equally classic and lovely illustrations. It's a wonderful retelling of the old folktale but with an interesting science angle to it.
