Overview

Thousands trekked through dark fields to hear the singing ghost of Joliet Prison. Perishioners fled in terror from six phantom monks who suddenly appeared at St. Rita's Church in Chicago. Ghostly gunfire still comes from the site of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. These are just a few of the amazing spooks included in Chicagoland Ghosts.

Author Information

Dylan Clearfield was born in Joliet, Illinois, where he resided for more than thirty years, acquiring vast amounts of first-hand knowledge of ghostly Chicagoland. After a brief tryout as a pitcher with the Pittsburgh Pirate Baseball Club, he turned to the legal profession and served as a Federal Court Reporter. After publishing several novels, Mr. Clearfield decided to document the many ghostly occurrences that he'd studied while living in the Chicago area and Chicagoland Ghosts is his first non-fiction work on the paranormal.
