Cherry Wood Finds a Home book, a tool to address bullying, rejection, friendship, and the value of making positive choices. The illustrations of trees by Glachelle Barks shows her creative expression for the story of Cherry Wood. As you look at trees in real life, you can see that no one tree is the same. They are all uniquely shaped of various shapes and colors. That it is with people, no one human is the same, but unique in their way. There is no reason to bully.

Reviews

This book is a great one for school age kids who face bullying and self esteem issues, and kids who have moved to a new place. I loved the friendship Cherry made with an older character that also gave him good, honest advice. A great gift for children! Stephanie Mockobee
