Welcome to one in a series of many Rugged Dad of the Apocalypse Prepper Compendiums. This one focuses on materials you might need to survive a chemical/biological/radiological incident.I don't know if you bought this one in print or digital form. I'm sure someone keeps track of that stuff though, either the overlords at --information redacted-- where you likely purchased this book or the NSA. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it. It's better that you have the information versus not having it.If you bought the book in digital form, I'm grateful for the income, but that's not enough. For you, that is.I also want you to have it in print form as well, for your own safety and security.Here's why...If you're reading this, you've already lived through an incident with the potential to become a full-fledged apocalypse. Just because it didn't become an apocalypse doesn't mean that the potential wasn't there.I write this as we are multiple months into a quarantine for the COVID-19 pandemic, which is not even the first pandemic or near pandemic that has occurred in my lifetime. Let's see. There's been several Ebola breakouts, SARS, AIDS, H1N1 Swine Flu, Mad Cow Disease, and others. And that's just in my lifetime. So far, these potential apocalyptic events have all been mostly manageable. My point is that there is always the potential for something bad to happen, but it can get so much worse than what we've seen thus far. In my jobs I've been involved in situations and long-term disasters that were worse than these pandemics.You need both the digital and paper versions of this book because...One of the doomsday events with the highest likelihood of occurrence is an electrical disturbance that upsets anything powered by computers or computerized chips. This means virtually everything electrical. These can occur from cosmological events like coronal mass ejections or solar flares or, as is more likely, an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) from a specific EMP weapon or the pulse from the detonation of a nuclear weapon.POOF!Just like that, your computer, Kindle, phone, tablet, laptop, USB drive, and any other device you had this book stored on is gone forever. Good thing you had your paper copy as well. The best thing is to get both, but if you only get one, buy the print version.So, here's the versions of this book in order of importance:1. Print. Yup, like a regular book you put on the shelf and everything.2. Kindle. This way you can read it on all your devices, at least until the world ends.Enjoy the book. Practice the skills you need. Stockpile the information for skills you might need in the future.
