When he was 12 years old, he came to the US with his mother and settled in New York. There he began to experiment with seasonal foods of the North East with his traditional West Indian style of cooking he learned from his grandmother. During the suspension of service and closures of the Covid-19 Pandemic, after 11 years in the restaurant industry, Glenroy made the decision to pursue his own venture, established ChefBoyPrince Catering & consulting Co. The company has gotten off to a fast start, catering to the NBA in Orlando during the time they spent in the bubble, and recently traveled to Costa Rica. Marcus has spent the past 10 years working in technology and considers his faith and family to be the most important aspects in his life. He and his beautiful wife, Machiko, have two amazing daughters, McKenzie and Mina, a dancer and a chef, respectively. Marcus enjoys sports, cooking, and traveling with family.
