Cheese the Pug thinks his alley behind the Cozy Spaghetti Café is the best place in the whole world. He loves his sunny nap spot, his friendly neighbors, and the occasional dropped noodle that feels like a tiny miracle. Everything is perfect until three circus monkeys escape in the middle of the night and blast into the alley like a tornado made of bananas. At first, Cheese hopes it is all a strange dream. But when the monkeys steal the entire donut delivery and replace his beloved cardboard box with a wobbly unicycle, he knows the trouble is real. Things get even worse when a flock of hungry seagulls swoops in, hoping to grab a snack from the chaos. Suddenly the alley is filled with juggling, screeching, rope swinging, and nonstop disaster. Now it is up to Cheese and his team of Alley Misfits. Pumpkin the grumpy cat wants his nap schedule back. Ricky the treasure-hunting raccoon wants his shiny things safe. Rex the self appointed guard dog wants to protect everyone. Together they must think fast, work as a team, and figure out how to save their home. Their first attempts fail in spectacular ways. Their second attempts fail even bigger. But just when it seems like the circus has completely taken over, the Misfits come up with a plan that involves spaghetti noodles, shiny distractions, and the most dramatic pug twirl ever performed. Kids ages eight to twelve will laugh and cheer as Cheese narrates this funny adventure filled with silly action, loyal friendships, and surprise after surprise. It is a story about courage, teamwork, and standing up for the place you love, even when you have no idea what you are doing. When the alley finally settles down, a single seagull perches on the power line with a look that suggests the next adventure is already on the way.
