Author Information

Pat Kardas worked at the Racine Public Library, WI for 20 years, but it was in 1981 that video became a major part of her professional life. From then until her retirement in 1989, she was producer, director, editor, and clean-up crew of off-air tapings, conversion of 16mm films to video, and original programming for the library's collection of local history, how-to, and educational tapes. She now runs her own business, Writers Ink, edits newsletteers, is active in community theatre, and contributes articles to newspapers and magazines.
