Vitanza is Professor of English and Rhetorics and is the founding Director of the Ph.D. program in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design in the College of Architecture, Art, and Humanities, at Clemson University. He is also Professor of Rhetoric and Philosophy, as well as the holder of the Jean-François Lyotard Chair in the Media and Communication Division at the European Graduate School in Switzerland.
