OverviewWelcome back to another thrilling episode in the Chase Johnson Western Adventure series! This time, Chase is hot on the trail of a band of desperate renegades who've raided the ranch of his sister, Sianna, and her husband, Junior Brady. At Junior's urgent request, Chase and his seasoned Uncle, Gray Wolf, join forces to bring back the kidnapped women-Sianna and her two daughters-before it's too late. Set in the fading days of the Indian Wars, when most tribes have already surrendered to reservation life, this story follows a handful of young renegade warriors still clinging to the legends of their ancestors-without the wisdom those legends carried. Gray Wolf, having just returned from tracking an army deserter, receives Chase's telegram and answers the call. With the help of a loyal stable master in Silver City, Gray Wolf gears up and rides hard to meet his kin. Together, the trio-Chase, Gray Wolf, and Junior-must outmaneuver the U.S. Cavalry, whose heavy-handed pursuit threatens to escalate the danger for the captives. Can Chase, Gray Wolf, and Junior outwit both the army and the renegades in time to save the women? Or will they arrive too late? Saddle up and find out in this action-packed chapter of Chase Johnson's saga! I can remember tales of haunted houses, haunted graveyards, stories of the Civil War, times of struggle, bygone days of the horse and wagon, or taunting a friend or family member. My Great Aunt, always ready to share a good story as she seemed to enjoy a wide-eyed youngster eager to listen to her never-ending folktales of a haunted house or graveyard, my grandfather which weaved his stories of times gone by, or many other family members eager to share with me as a young lad. Now as an older adult and those cherished family members have since passed on. I enjoyed sharing a few stories to a select few and never planned to write until encouraged by a teacher from one of the many on-line courses I have taken as I consider myself to be a lifelong student and I am forever asking about or wish to learn more about history, science, or literature. Born and raised in the south and having traveled across this great country it has given me ample opportunity to meet those ready to share or hear a story or two. Pulled from those gone on, enriched by friends met on my travels, and my own added twist makes each suspense, Western, or wherever my next story may take me Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
