Author, Coach, Trainer, and Instructor of CYC, first released in 2017 after twenty years in workshop form, she has now taught thousands of CYC Travelers committed to this process. Garnering from this most recent experience has permeated into this second edition with multiple new chapters, best practice updates and CYC Travelers’ practical application success stories throughout. Dorothy is a Partner at Boyden Miami, a top 10, worldwide leader in senior executive search, interim management and leadership and talent services with 75 offices in 45 countries. She also founded Billingsly Associates, based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, of which the largest division is Chart Your Course training and consulting services. Perhaps better known as a C-Suite “Headhunter,” she refers to herself as a matchmaker. She spent the first half of her career at the Partner level at Boyden, DHR, Int., and Korn Ferry. Recruited by a client, Pillsbury, she headed up Talent Acquisition. She earned her BS and MBA at Western Illinois University, as a scholarship swimmer. Besides teaching yoga, she remains an avid swimmer, animal lover and golfer. She values contributing to people’s lives through inspiration, encouragement , and collaboration. The “Wind Beneath her Wings,” is the grace of spiritual teachings, mentors, her husband, and the many precious cats that have adorned her life. With over twenty-five years of global corporate experience with IBM and the past 20 years in the executive search industry, complemented with insight from conducting many workshops across the country, Joel’s guidance, wisdom, confirmations, and reflections are injected throughout CYC. Known to many as the “Resume Guru,” discussions with students and faculties across university campuses continue to invigorate him. Joel is the COO at Billingsly Associates, utilizing his many talents and experiences in his advisory roles serving on boards in both the public and private sectors. His personal strength now comes from a loving and devoted wife with whom he shares a vital role in her many personal and business endeavors.
