In his abbreviated lifetime, Charlie Smith demonstrated an uncommon love for the poor and stood against the tide of the norm to implement visions on their behalf. He was instrumental in the founding of H.E.A.R.T., located in Florida, which trains and prepares students to be missionaries. He worked alongside Charlie Smith in the pioneer years of Heart to Honduras and remains a HTH board member. Jim is now Founder and Overseer of Prayer Plan Missions. He and his wife Carol Lynne have two children and four grandchildren.
