CHARLEY HORSE is a 'must read' for anyone who was somehow deeply moved by the Vietnam War era, intrigued by Air Cavalry and helicopters, or fascinated by that magical process that bonds brothers-in-arms. In this perspective, Mr. Macauley describes the Vietnam War from July 29, 1970 through July 27, 1971 through Warren 'Bud' McCoy's eyes - more as a contiguous process than as a series of random happenings.
