"Character. It Shows. A full year curriculum. Fun and simple. It works! Character. It Shows. is a character education curriculum for elementary school students with 176 one-minute dialogue scripts for two student readers. The curriculum covers the entire year and can be used multiple years. Students enjoy hearing the scripts a second time. Character traits that form the basis of character are emphasized, one trait a month; respect, responsibility, caring/compassion, trustworthiness, fairness, citizenship, attitude, effort, self-control, and courtesy. Peggy Halter Morris, M.C., M.Ed., educator and counselor, was a public-school teacher and counselor for thirty years in public schools. She wrote Character. It Shows. for the public-school students. Then she entered the homeschool community and helped homeschool her grandchildren.
