His long and rewarding career as a performer, writer, designer and director is testament to his talent, dedication, drive – and luck. Reg was an active and enthusiastic figure in the early histories of Sydney’s Old Tote and the Melbourne and South Australian Theatre Companies, as well as a revered foundation member of Sydney’s Ensemble. His following stage appearances were all show-stopping performances: Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Barnum and the original Australian Frank‘n’furter in The Rocky Horror Show. During the 1970s his own groundbreaking one-man shows Betty Blokk Buster Follies, Wonder Woman and Sacred Cow put him at the forefront of Australian popular theatre.
