ABOUT THE AUTHOR, June Gunter, Ed.D. June Gunter, Ed.D., is an executive coach, leadership educator, and organizational development expert with four decades of experience supporting leaders through complexity and change. She is the Founder and CEO of TeachingHorse, LLC, an innovative leadership development organization that uses experiential learning with horses to prepare people to lead through uncertainty. She is also the co-founder of Go-od Consulting, where she works with senior leaders and teams to clarify strategy, strengthen leadership capacity, and navigate organizational transformation. June has coached and developed thousands of leaders across industries, including healthcare, insurance, and professional services, and has worked extensively with executive and physician leaders in large, complex systems. Known for her grounded presence, insight, and compassionate truth-telling, she brings humor and humanity to the serious work of leadership. June holds a Doctor of Education in Adult Learning from North Carolina State University and a master's in organizational psychology. She is the author of multiple publications on leadership and learning. June lives in North Carolina with her partner, Rebecca, her herd of five horses, seven cats, and a dog named Jolene.
