The Editors: Jurgen Elvert is professor of contemporary history and history of European integration at the University of Cologne. He is also a member emeritus of the Center for European Integration at the University of Bonn. Sylvain Schirmann is professor of history and director of the Institute of Political Studies in Strasbourg. Les responsables de la publication : Jurgen Elvert est professeur d'histoire et d'histoire de l'integration europeenne a l'Universite de Cologne. En outre, il est membre emerite du Centre de l'integration europeenne a l'universite de Bonn. Sylvain Schirmann est directeur de l'Institut d'etudes politiques de Strasbourg et professeur d'histoire a ce meme institut.
