MacNeill A Master Instructor, David holds top level certifications with both the Professional Billiard Instructors Association and American Cue Sports. He has been a competitive player since 1955 and has been actively teaching billiards since 1993. Now retired as the owner and operator of Billiard Academy of New England and Billiard Academy of Florida (both BCA-accredited teaching facilities), he has taught many other instructors, some of whom have attained Master status. He has also served as the house pro in some billiard rooms in Florida. He holds a PhD in Human and Organizational Development and has taught at the University of Connecticut and at Briarwood College. David lives in Connecticut and Florida with his wife Celia of more than 48 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren. Jonathan MacNeill An Instructor and member of the Professional Billiard Instructors Association, Jonathan's contribution to this book was the most physically demanding. Jon successfully completed all the drills and tested the accuracy of all the diagrams with cue in hand. He also edited and expanded the text so that it made sense to the novice as well as the expert, adding graphics as needed. Besides being a billiard instructor, Jon works full time as a network administrator. He lives in Western New York with his wife Sarah and their three children: Hannah, Rebekah, and Isaac.
