Ian Muirden has been a keen fisherman and nature lover from an early age and fished for salmon, sea trout, brown and rainbow trout in many of the rivers of England, Scotland and Wales. His long-time home is now north Hampshire, close to the gathering grounds and source of the famous Test, Itchen and Meon chalk streams. Ian was born in northeast England, where he was educated and subsequently trained in agriculture, horticulture and forestry
