Overview

On May 21, 1913, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officially affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America. Since the beginnings of that dynamic partnership, millions of youth and adults have registered in LDS Church-sponsored Scouting units, and leaders of the two organizations have worked together to instill character, citizenship and fitness in young men. Century of Honor: 100 Years of Scouting in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints commemorates the centennial celebration of the LDS-BSA partnership, and documents significant events, people, and milestones of the past century.
