Dr. Imteyaz Qamar is a distinguished molecular cancer biologist and an Assistant Professor at the School of Biotechnology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India. With a Doctoral degree in Molecular Endocrinology from Chonnam National University, Republic of Korea, Dr. Qamar has built a prolific academic and research career, particularly in the field of cancer biology. His research spans various aspects of molecular biology, with a focus on cancer mechanisms, therapeutic targets, and drug discovery. Dr. Qamar’s scholarly work includes numerous publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Maurya's academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Biology (1998-2001) and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry (2001-2003), where he secured first rank, followed by a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Allahabad University (2003-2008), India. His post-doctoral training spans prestigious institutions, including Taipei Medical University (2011-2012), Taiwan, and the Federal University of Sao Paulo (2014-2016), Brazil. Before his tenure at the Central University of Haryana, Dr. Maurya served as a lecturer at SBS University, Dehradun, and as an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. Dr. Maurya's research is notably interdisciplinary, with a focus on accelerated ageing in neuropsychiatric disorders, nanomedicine, and clinical biochemistry. His contributions to the field include a few research articles published in reputed journals, as well as authorship of a book.
