Being religious without having a genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most perilous of all sins. The spirit of religion was the driving force that pushed Jesus to crucifixion. The most difficult people that Jesus spoke to were the religious people of his day. The spirit of religion has permeated our society. This is the core issue of this book. It has taken years for me to be able to discern and hear the Holy Spirit exposing this stronghold that prevails in many churches. The overriding theme in every chapter of this book will be addressing the deception of religion. The word religion used in the Bible is not always used in the context of something negative. When the word religion is used throughout this book it is used in the context of opposing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Thus: Religion Versus Relationship.

Todd currently resides in southern Illinois with his wife, Sue. They have two adult children, one daughter-in-law and one granddaughter. Todd has led a multi-vocational life.
