Overview

Cats on My Deck is about a cat living outside of a person's home and the six animals living inside of it. It's a story about survival, friendship and how people come to love and respect animals. About the Author Bruce Cortalano is retired from the United States Air Force after serving twenty years, achieving the rank of Major. This was followed by a career in public education, serving both as a teacher and high school administrator. He enjoys reading and making jewelry using semi-precious stones. Cortalano is married with four grown sons and five wonderful grandchildren. He is a member of the Cold Spring New York American Legion Post 275 and serves on the Veterans and Armed Services Putnam County New York Veterans Memorial Park Advisory Board.
