After joining the University as an Assistant Professor he proved his work excellence as a Veterinary surgeon by contributing in new techniques i.e. Cataract surgery in dogs by Phacoemulsification and IOL implant using an operating microscope. He became the first Veterinary Surgeon of Rajasthan state to perform successful cataract surgery by phacoemulsification method in dogs. His work was recognised by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner, District administration, Bikaner, Government of Rajasthan, and many other organizations by felicitating him on various occasions. In due course, he strengthened his skill and presented his work of ophthalmology on different platforms, and disseminated the knowledge. He won three consecutive GOLD MEDALs for best papers in the field of veterinary ophthalmology at the Annual congress of the Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery from 2017-2019. He has guided 14 students in their masters' research out of which 11 conducted their research in the field of ophthalmology. He has 92 scientific publications to his credit and attended many conferences/symposiums/workshops of National and International repute. He is a member of six Scientific National and International organizations. He is a popular invited expert to deliver offline delete or online technical lectures/webinars on different topics for veterinary ophthalmology.
