Louisa Dell was born in the town of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. She attended Fartown High School and then Huddersfiend Technical College where she studied Business and International Finance, English Law, Accounts and French. The majority of her working life has been spent in the Motor Industry where she worked as a Service Advisor. Her interest in Romantic Fiction started at the age of fifteen when she read her first Mills & Boon.
