Cristine's writing career began at age 7, when she wrote and illustrated a children's story on a stucco wall of the family home. Unfortunately, the house was a rental, and she had to scrub off the crayon with a big rock. Fast forward to adulthood, and a career as a writer/producer/director, and now, children's book author. When not working, Cristine is an aspiring surfer, deteriorating dancer, dedicated DIY-er, and Frenchie spoiler. She lives with her husband, Joe, and Cassius the Frenchie, in San Diego, CA. Their three kids are all grown, but come back often for lively Italian family dinners.
