Author Information

Mohammad Noman is an Assistant Professor at Wenzhou-Kean University, serving as the Director of the Department of Educational Leadership and Administration. With a PhD in Educational Leadership, his research focuses on two main areas: examining educational leadership through a triadic lens (Leader, Followers, Context) and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in higher education. His SoTL work mainly explores innovative pedagogical practices and assessment strategies, particularly in cross-cultural educational contexts. He has extensively researched active learning methodologies and student engagement in diverse classroom settings. His international career spans four countries: teaching at K-12 schools in India, working in both K-12 and higher education in Thailand and Malaysia, and contributing to higher education in China since 2020. This diverse experience enriches his understanding of global educational systems. Amrita Kaur is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at College of Liberal Arts, Wenzhou-Kean University, China. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology. Her primary area of research concerns teaching, learning, and assessment in higher education, students as partners, learning motivation and engagement, and cross-cultural studies for learning. She was also the recipient of the ISSOTL 2020 fellowship. She is also a Recognized Research supervisor from the UK Council of Graduate Education (UKCGE). She serves as the editorial member for the Malaysian Journal of Learning and Instruction, the International Journal of Students as Partners, and the Journal of College Students Development.
