Janice E. Jones , PhD is the Director of the PhD program at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. Dr. Jones has many years of experience teaching research to adults and served for 17 years in leadership positions working with adults who were earning a PhD in Leadership. As Professor of Leadership, Dr. Jones has taught courses in research methods, writing, diversity and leadership. Dr. Jones currently serves as the chair of the Institutional Review Board at Carroll University. Dr. Jones has published books on mixed methods research, and has published articles in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies. Dr. Jones is an advocate for children in out of home care and is currently studying attachment processes between foster parents and infants in their care. Dr. Mette Baran is an award-winning educator and author whose scholarship focuses on mixed methods research, higher education teaching and learning, and leadership. She has published books and refereed journal articles in education and business and has served on numerous doctoral dissertation committees as both chair and committee member. Dr. Baran previously served as a professor of educational leadership at Cardinal Stritch University, where she taught in the Doctoral Leadership Programs. She is currently a lecturer at Troy University, teaching management and leadership courses in the Sorrell College of Business. Her research interests include educational looping, research methods, leadership, and international studies.
