Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationKamal Siddiqui is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Monash University. A former civil servant, he currently teaches diplomacy and the contemporary world. Kamal obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Development Administration from Leeds University. He then obtained his MA in Development Studies and his PhD in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. As Economic and Commercial Minister in the Bangladesh Embassy in China for three years and as Principal Secretary and Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office in Bangladesh for nine years, Dr Siddiqui has attained hands-on experience in bilateral, multilateral and summit diplomacy and in international negotiations. He has also published a large number of books and articles both in Bangladesh and abroad. Quamrul Alam is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Monash University. He has 25 years teaching and research experience in international business, international management and international public administration. He taught at the Australian National University, at LaTrobe University and at Dhaka University before accepting a position at Monash University. Quamrul has published a large number of journal articles, books and book chapters. He obtained a BA (Honours) and an MA in Public Administration from Dhaka University, and then obtained a Masters in Economics from Manchester University and a PhD from Flinders University.
