Jasmine L. Holmes is the author of Mother to Son: Letters to a Black Boy on Identity and Hope. She is also a contributing author for Identity Theft: Reclaiming the Truth of Our Identity in Christ and His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. She and her husband, Phillip, are parenting three young sons in Jackson, Mississippi. Lauren Angel uses her voice as a conduit for unity, peace, and healing. She is an empath. When not attending to travelers on their various journeys, she communes with nature on long hikes and by being near the ocean. Lauren is a yogi and practices meditation regularly. She is also an expert hugger.
