Carty the Shopping Cart is a happy shopping cart who loves to help customers shop and carry their items. Carty and his best friend Angel always have fun, but Angel got into an accident and was taken away to the repair shop. Carty, missing his friend, wonders what happens when you are taken away to the repair shop. Will Carty see his best friend Angel again and how? Shopping carts are very important to the stores where they belong. We have all seen Broken, Dirty, Squeaky wheels, and shopping carts that move in all directions when pushed forward. Joseph and Adela DeMichele are usually out collecting abandoned shopping carts. Like Joseph's father, he is drawn to the service business and loves to provide the community a service. Writing a Children's book about a shopping cart, giving it life, has been an idea for many years. Carty was named by their daughter, Adela Marie, as they would often have focus sessions on ideas for the Children's book. She is now 10 years old and contributes many ideas for future Carty Books. Having three boys, one girl, and three grandchildren, Joseph and Adela stay busy and enjoy being part of their lives as they grow up.
