Author Information

Dr. Kai Tang received a Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Western Australia in Sept. 2016 and a Ph.D. degree in Natural Resources Management from China University of Geosciences in Dec. 2016. Since Oct. 2016, Dr. Tang has been in School of Economics and Trade, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies as a Professor. Dr. Tang is an Environmental and Resources Economist interested in tackling climate change, improving the quality of our environment, and enhancing the management of our natural resources. His research considers people's practices for environmental outcomes. Since 2016, Dr. Tang has published 30 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, including Agricultural Systems, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resources Economics, Journal of Environmental Management, Land Use Policy, Energy, Applied Energy, Sustainable Development, etc., and two books. He is the Deputy Secretary-General of Green Finance Division, China Society ofNatural Resources and a Member of Standing Committee of Energy & Resource Systems Engineering Division, Systems Engineering Society of China. He also serves as a reviewer of more than 30 international journals, i.e., Nature Energy, Ecological Economics, Climate Policy, Agricultural Systems, Journal of Environmental Management, Energy, etc. He was a recipient of Australia’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS).
