Reviews

""We need more dads like Jon-unafraid of the messy, magical, real parts of parenting. Car Seat Conversations is equal parts heart, humor, and honesty-a love letter to fatherhood."" -Paula Faris, award-winning journalist, author, and founder of CARRY Media ""Car Seat Conversations is a heartfelt reminder that fatherhood is as holy as it is hilarious. Jon Woolley captures the sacred weight of being a dad in the everyday chaos of haircuts, grocery trips, and bedtime negotiations. As a dad myself, I believe we need more of these honest, faith-filled stories shared because they remind us that God's grace shows up even in the smallest moments. Every dad and every family will see themselves in these pages and walk away encouraged."" -Dr. Michael Dorsey, speaker, author, contestant on The Biggest Loser ""As a dad, I felt seen on every page of Car Seat Conversations: The Secret Life of a Dad-equal parts laugh-out-loud and lump-in-throat. Woolley nails the chaotic poetry of real parenting-from a surprise bathroom-floor birth to fishing triumphs with a Barbie pole and a very angry snapping turtle-and reminds us why we keep showing up. I'd recommend this to parents of kids at any age; you'll recognize your family here, and you'll be glad you did."" -Jon Seivers, TuffDadStuff ""Jon Woolley's Car Seat Conversations: The Secret Life of a Dad is a hilarious, heartwarming ride through the chaos and joy of fatherhood. I laughed, I cried (seriously), I laughed some more-Jon's life is infinitely relatable to anyone who has had children or been a child. Think Sedaris, but you can picture yourself in each chapter (because you've probably lived a moment near it and said, 'Is this real life?'). Kudos Mr. Woolley, please give us more!"" -John Gauger, CIO, Liberty University
