Originally from Hollywood CA, Marquis moved to Buffalo NY when he was 12, where he began his public speaking career on the steps of City Hall in front of over 2,000 at the mayor's inauguration in '92 with his award winning letter. He would then go on to helping introduce the internet to the world via a satellite discussion with president Clinton in '94.
