Overview

Johannes was born in 1865 on a farm near Pretoria, South Africa . By the age of 12 he could track, shoot, and ride. When six men killed his parents and his 4 year old sister, he swore revenge an left the farm to track them down. He succeeded. The murderers split into two groups, but Johannes followed them through Heildelberg, Bloemfontein and Durban, where he boarded a ship to Cape Town. There he met Pieter du Toit, a horse farmer and a spy for the Transvaal Republic. Johannes finds love and is drawn into the spy network. He eventualy ends up in Pretoria., working with Colonel Chris de Beer the no 1 undercover agent for President Paul Kruger. Together they confront Cecil John Rhodes and the English imperial ambitions to siece the Republic and all its gold. Were and the commandos successful?
