They have been married for over fifty years. They have two sons, two grandsons, and two granddaughters. Garry was raised on a farm and worked many other jobs, including each summer for five years on offshore oil platforms. His adult life was mainly spent teaching management at the university level. He co-authored many textbooks and novels with Danny. Danny Arnold and his wife of over fifty years, Peggy, live in Winston Salem, NC.
