Reviews

Reading a book from a previously 'unknown-to-me' author can sometimes be a bit of gamble but it really paid off with this one. The story line is super topical and the author has done her research, and this knowledge comes across well without being preachy. The main characters are really well rounded and relatable, and I found myself pondering their situation and their lives when I was going about day to day tasks - always the sign of good read. I really enjoyed this one, and I can be really quite picky, so I've got no hesitation recommending others to give it read. I'll be looking out for more by this author - Frances.P

Author Information

An inquisitive person by nature, and a keen observer of the divergence in the human condition. Each of my novels points a magnifying glass at a particular aspect of everyday life and exposes the underbelly of 'normal'. The shifting and complex nature of relationships is a noteworthy feature of my work, especially when ordinary people are challenged and their established standards and beliefs come under attack. My narrative aims to exploit the resultant turmoil that ensues. It's fiction with a realistic twist that is tantalisingly relatable to the reader.
