Ross O'Brien is the founder and CEO of Bonaventure Equity, a late stage cannabis venture capital fund, and runs the Cannabis Dealmakers Summit, a series of industry conferences and investment forums. Ross sits on the boards of the Green Ignition Ventures, Florida's first cannabis accelerator and the CannaMexio Conference. Ross has a broad spectrum of private company expertise ranging from starting and operating high growth businesses, to numerous Venture Capital, & Private Equity transactions, advising portfolio companies on Mergers & Acquisitions transactions and capital introductions. He has taught entrepreneurship and finance, has held board positions and has spent his career primarily working with, and advising family offices on their self-directed private equity investing activities. He has been an advisor for programs on investing, entrepreneurship and impact investing at MIT and Harvard and was on the steering committee that launched TechRunway at Florida Atlantic University, where they still teach the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp program he designed and authored. Prior to relocating to Florida, Ross worked on Wall Street with a boutique New York investment banking firm, was a Manager at Geller & Company and an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase. His experience also encompasses many entrepreneurial ventures ranging from being the first employee of a UK based Digital Media Technology firm responsible for launching their North American business. He was a founder of a digital technology company, which he and his partners exited in 2006. He began his career at Sony BMG and has international experience working in the UK, Europe, Hong Kong and Canada. Ross holds an MBA from Fordham University and obtained a BS in Business Marketing & Management from Ferris State University. He also holds his Series 79 and 63 securities licenses. Michael Butler Murray is a professional actor, narrator, and musician who has voiced over fifty-five audiobooks. His recorded titles run the spectrum from dramatic to comedic fiction and nonfiction titles varying in topics from the Middle East to understanding your dog's olfactory senses. Born on Long Island, New York, he has been performing his entire life. Over the past few decades, he has performed in slews of musicals, dramas, and improv shows across the country, has appeared in several films, and performs regularly with his guitar comedy duo, Schoolcraft & Murray.
