Overview

Natchitoches provided more than 2000 young men to the Confederate Army during the Civil War. This 300 page work is packed with Civil War facts of Natchitoches and attempts them and put a face to as many of them as possible. Over 50 portraits are inlculded along with 2000 service records. Also included are chapters with a short history of the war in Natchitoches and of military units formed in the parish.
